Technical Specifications
Electroluminescent (EL) Panel are flexible, flat, thin, cold light sources that can be cut into complex shapes.
EL panel
is essentially a capacitor structure with phosphor sandwiched between two electrodes. Application of an AC voltage between
the electrodes generates a changing field within the phosphor which causes the phosphor to emit light.
EL panel are impact and
vibration resistant, requires low power source, generate low heat in operation and are manufacture using cost effective silk screen
printing process.
Different Layers of Electroluminescent Panel
- ITO Film: Indium Tin Oxide Coated Polyester Film.
- Phosphor
(from Osram): A powder substance that converts electric
energy into light.
- Dielectric: A substance highly resistant to the flow of electric current.
- Protection: Lamination
Nejilock ensures the quality of it's EL Panels by using raw materials from reliable sources;
1) Nejilock uses Osram GG high bright
phosphor for good brightness.
2) Nejilock uses binders developed internally for excellent adhesion
property
between the layers, especially with the ITO film.
3) Nejilock uses Silver Paste from Acheson for good electrical
characteristic.
